Got back home last night after a very long weekend.
Not really much to say right now. Maybe I'll make a more elaborate post later. Maybe not.
I probably won't be playing much catch up with the flist, just starting wherever I start. If I missed anything at all though, point the way. I don't want to be completely out of the loop.

I posted the other day about cookie recipes, but only got one response with some. (Thanks jackoweskla!!)
Does any have any good Christmas cookie recipes they'd like to share? I'd really really love a good gingerbread cookie recipe. My friend and I want to make them, but neither of us have ever attempted it. It'd be nice to have something that will actually *work*.

| Christmas Cookie Recipes |

My friend and I are going to be making Christmas Cookies this year. I have some recipes and ideas of what we're going to be making, but need a few more.
This year, we plan on making Sandwich Cookies (thin sugar cookies with icing between), thumbprints (cookies with jelly in the middle), Nuthorns, Kiss cookies (and peanut butter cup ones too).
We also want to make sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies. But I don't have a good recipe for either. Do any of you have any good recipes for these?
Also, do you have any favorite cookies you make every year that you'd like to share with us (and those reading this post)? I'd love to maybe start some new cookie traditions here. :)
Please, share your favorite holiday cookies and recipes! I'd love to know what you all love.

Internet was down yesterday. In my boredom, I watched tv.
Somehow ended up watching LA Ink. And to my surprise and delight saw Frank Iero on the show.
I am a horrible MCR fangirl for not knowing he was going to be on. But somehow it worked out anyway. :)
Seriously, so cute. The love for his grandfather and how he wants to be just like him. Family man and all. And he was stocking their shelves! Btw, I was kind of appalled that they didn't know who he was. They had to be kidding. Really.

What sites do you guys use to find jobs?
I used to use the local paper's job seeker page, but they just got rid of it in favor of linking to yahoo job search. A big disappointment, really, because now instead of finding real jobs that I can apply for, I'm finding lots of "work at home opportunities". Yeah. No.
I Desperately want out of retail before this holiday season really gets under way.
